Additional Announcements

Congratulations to the Rebel Boys Ultimate Frisbee team taking first place in the “Off the Deep End” tournament last weekend! The team WON all 6 games!  Way to go!

Jazz Club Night Friday 6pm April 26 @ Elks Lodge Englewood, CO  All students in jazz band will perform on this night as a full jazz band. The students will play new music they have been preparing along with their greatest hits from this past year. Music will range from jazz to rock to latin and funk.  To celebrate, we invite all students, families, and friends to enjoy an evening of catered dinner and live music in a comfortable fun environment.

Tickets are adult $20/$15 for students/family 4 pack $60/cash bar. Tickets can purchased at

We are in need of about 26 non jazz student support and help at this event at 4:45pm.  Students may sign up while earning 5 points towards an academic letter in music along with admission to the concert and a pizza dinner. A sign up genius has been sent out and the link is reposted here:             

Important: Parents/Guardians are responsible for transporting their teen to the event. A carpool signup with be utilized by the students in class in case students may need rides with other parents. A carpool signup will also be sent out.          


PROM 2019 is around the corner!  Check out this important information:

Prom is Saturday, May 4th.  This year’s theme is “Casino Royale.  The dance will be 8:00-11pm at The Falls Event Center, 8199 Southpark Ct, Littleton, CO 80120  

Students will need their Columbine ID for admittance.  Parking will be available at The Falls, Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson, and the Staybridge Suites and Hampton Inn hotels across the street.

Prom Tickets can be purchased at the Financial Office from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the following dates:

  • April 23-25 for $40 ($10 discount per ticket)
  • April 30-May 2 for $45 ($5 discount per ticket)
  • At the door May 4 for $50

Guest approval forms, for students guest students from other schools, must be submitted at the time of ticket purchase and are available in the Main Office.

After Prom is after the dance, midnight to 4am (on May 5th) at Main Event Center. The address is 64 Centennial Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.  

All CHS Juniors and Seniors are welcome, along with their guest.  Guest attendees must have wristbands from Prom for admittance.  After Prom attendees will enjoy food, arcade games, laser tag, bowling, and much more!

We need prize DONATIONS for After Prom!  These prizes are geared toward the seniors graduating and heading to college or out on their own OR the juniors headed into their senior year.


Desserts needed for students at After Prom!  Attendees at the Main Event After Prom will be receiving pizza and a soda.  Volunteers are coordinating an awesome DESSERT BAR.  We need your help! 


Prom Corsages and Boutonnieres  - 
Prom will be here before we know it and one way to get ahead of things is to order your corsages and boutonnieres. Not only will you be able to customize with your ribbon color(s), but you will receive FREE delivery the morning of Prom to locations in zip codes 80123, 80127 and 80128. Group orders may be combined and delivered to one location. Corsages - $15, Boutonnieres - $10
